My Background

I started my first business whilst still at school, selling greetings cards to fellow pupils, and was awarded the Enterprise Cup - my entrepreneurial journey had begun.

I decided that I was going to practice 'business' with other peoples money before risking my own and a successful career in sales and marketing started.

I worked for a variety of blue chip companies who taught me the good, bad and ugly of business and gave me a thorough grounding in what it takes to get customers, look after them and grow/manage and coach a team.

In the mid 2000's I bought a pet food business and generated £120,000 of sales from the front seat of a white van. Following 8 years service in the Police I was back into industry - this time armed with new skills around supply chain management, communication, coaching, and business management.

A travel business followed and within 4 years (including during a global pandemic) I grew it from £0 to £2.5m. I had no experience of the industry & no customers - but I had the drive and determination to succeed.

During Covid I started using my coaching skills with other business owners to get them back on their feet - this made me realise that coaching others to be successful played to my strengths and values - and like a Phoenix emerging from the flames Sarah Watts | Business Coach was established.

The next chapter is going to an interesting one - I want to positively impact as many people as possible so the ways to work with me are expanding - memberships, courses, products and of course one to one coaching for those who are really committed to transforming their business.

When I'm not working

I'm a firm believer that life isn't meant to be lived in one place and that theres a big planet to explore - so travel is a big passion of mine.

Far flung places or a coffee shop on my motorbike, it really doesn't matter (so long as the sun is shining)

Home life is shared with my wife and maine coon cat along with 60,000 bees as I'm a passionate albeit new beekeeper and can talk about them for hours!!
